The Miami Lakes marina picnic and playground area, located at Miami Lakes Optimist Park, 6411 N.W. 162 Street, is now available to be reserved for birthday parties and family gatherings.
Pavilions and picnic tables are available, and life jackets and fishing rods are available for free.
Free fishing clinics are also available and a Florida freshwater fishing license is required for those wishing to cast their lines. For license information, visit www.myfwc.com.
