National honor for School for Advanced Studies

Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ School for Advanced Studies (SAS) received national recognition from Niche.com as one of the best schools in the nation.

The school received a school grade of A+ in the following categories: Academics, Student Culture, Teacher Quality, Resource and Facilities, Extracurricular Activities, and Educational Outcomes. SAS is also ranked the number one Public High School in the State of Florida for the second year in a row by Niche.

Niche.com, formerly known as the College Prowler, provides online information services and runs a ranking and review site on thousands of public and private schools and districts across the country.  Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and student and parent reviews.

School for Advanced Studies is the Collegiate High School of Miami-Dade County Public Schools and is located on four campuses of Miami Dade College.
