The Miami Lakes Optimist Club is currently holding registration for its NFL Youth Flag Football League for boys and girls ages 5-13, on consecutive Saturdays, September 2 and 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Optimist Park Clubhouse, 6411 N.W. 162 Street.
The registration fee is $120, which covers all costs for players including their jerseys and equipment. Payment can be made with cash or by check.
Parents can also register their children online at www.miaflag.com. Online registration fee is $125.
The Fall 2017 season runs from September 30 to December 16, and league games will be played on Saturdays at Royal Oaks Park, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue.
