The next Spanish-language play to be produced by Main Street Players opens on November 30 at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street.

Te Juro Juana, Que Tengo Ganas (‘I swear to you, Juana, I want to’ in Spanish.) is a hilarious farce written by Emilio Carballido.

The complex story of love, passion, secrets and lies has a web of small plots which are eventually brought together. Although it is a Spanish show, it is not mandatory to be fluent in the language to be able to follow the plot and appreciate the comedic elements. An English language synopsis in the program will allow non-Spanish speakers to understand the plot.

The show is directed by Alejandro Milián, and the production manager is Isaac Polanco.

The cast includes Inés played by Vanessa Tamayo, Serafina played by Margie Marchant, Evangelina portrayed by Johana Castaño, Librado played by Luis Acosta and Estanfor played by Felipe Mora

The show runs November 30 through December 16, with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 5 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for students, seniors and military personnel. Theatre league and industry tickets are $20 with I.D. at the door. Tickets may be purchased in advance by visiting, or at the door one hour before showtime.
