Salvation Army Capt. Kelly Durant, a Miami Lakes resident, was honored by the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce for all of the humanitarian work he does throughout Miami-Dade County when a major disaster strikes. He received the proclamation from Chamber president Magaly Rubio.
