On April 5, the Hialeah Miami Lakes (HML) Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event at Walter C. Young Middle School in Pembroke Pines. This is the 10th year that the group has participated. Lucas de Santis is a five year old boy with autism. His parents Dulce and Angelo de Santis started a campaign in April to raise money to get their son a service dog.
