    The Miami Lakes Neighborhood Improvement Committee hosted 24 cyclists on a bike ride around town on April 5 to support Autism Awareness Month. County recycling pickup schedules may change for some residents

BGEC students collect 300 books for kids

      Students at Bob Graham Education Center collected over 300 books from classmates, teachers and families for the Miami Lakes Book Drive that was organized by the Education Advisory Board. Area schools are collecting new and gently used books until April 25. Donations may be placed in a box in the lobby of Town Hall, at 6601 Main St. The EAB will give books away to children at town events.
