  Miami Lakes Duplicate Bridge Club is one of the longest continuous clubs in the community and is looking for new members to take advantage of the club’s benefits. The club meets and plays every Monday at 11:45 a.m. at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue. M. Lakes Bookmark Design winner is Sofia Palomino

Sofia Palomino, 11, was the winner of the Bookmark Design contest for the Miami Lakes Branch Library. She was also the grand prize winner for the county overall in the ages 9 to 12 category. She competed with children from across the county to have her design featured on bookmarks that will be distributed at all branches, and featured on the library’s website.
