Ribbon-cutting ceremony which officially opened Miami Lakes’ new Youth Center, “The Spot,” featured town officials including Mayor Michael Pizzi, Councilmembers Tony Lama, Manny Cid, Ceasar Mestre and Frank Mingo, along with Town Manager Alex Rey. The state-of-the-art facility celebrated its first “Open Hang Night” on December 2 which attracted a large group of Miami Lakes youth.

Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee will host its annual Concert in the Park at 6:30 p.m. on its new date, Saturday, January 30, at Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
