Miami Lakes Library hosts Act!vated Story Theatre

  Act!vated Story Theatre, a touring children’s theatre troupe, performed at the Miami Lakes  Branch Library, 6699 Windmill Gate Road, on Thursday, January 15, with the support of a grant provided by Target stores.  Following the private performance and workshop at the library, the troupe then presented a performance of multicultural folktales open to the public the next day.   Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is seeking volunteers to lead guided interactive tours for its visitors. An information reception for those interested in becoming a Volunteer Guide will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, in the Courtyard of the Main House, 3251 South Miami Avenue.
