Discover Montessori Academy, located at 15650 Miami Lakeway North, invites the community to a Trunk or Treat event on Halloween, October 31 from 7 to 9 p.m. Volunteers will decorate the trunks of their vehicles with a variety of themes.   It’s officially Fall and Miami Lakes United Methodist Church’s 17th annual Pumpkin Patch will open on October 3 with three truckloads of pumpkins scheduled to arrive on October 3, 10 and 22.
