The preschool and kindergarten students at Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic School, 8445 N.W. 186 Street, were riding for a cure for children with cancer. They participated in the annual Trike-A-Thon for St. Jude’s Hospital in mid February.

They were fully suited with headgear, kneepads, and bike decor for an intense race to the finish line. The preschoolers and kindergarteners received sponsorship and donations to raise money for children like them that need the much needed care and therapy to help battle cancer.
The little racers rode many laps for awareness. They persevered and ended the event with three winning laps around the courtyard with older students and teachers cheering them on from the sidelines. All of them reached the finish line with great big smiles on their faces for the awesome job done. One lap at a time, the students at MOOR will help find a cure.
