Nominations accepted for Miami Lakes military banner display

The Town of Miami Lakes and its Veterans
Committee are planning once again to recognize local military heroes in a display of banners that will be hung along Miami Lakes Drive.
Relatives or friends may nominate an active duty service member, reservist, veteran or retired member of any military branch to be included.
Each banner will have the veteran’s name and photograph, in the project that is sponsored by Miami Lakes AutoMall.
To qualify, honorees live in Miami Lakes or own a business in town.
Nomination forms can be found out at www.miamilakes-fl.gov/militarytributebanner and must be submitted by April 8.
