Main Street Players and Mercedes Theater Project will present an evening of three short theatrical pieces performed in Spanish on Saturday, September 9 at 8 p.m. The show is directed by Alejandro Milian with musical direction by Damaris Torres.
La Cancion de Cecilia (Cecilia’s Song) tells of a Cuban mother who fights against her own Destiny, and will be performed by Araina Begue. Mujeres de Crystal (Crystal Women) tells of a woman born out of poetry, out of memory, and will be performed by Alejandro Milian. Peores, Las Demas (Worse Are The Others) is a different type of musical in which a lesbian mother fights her son and her lover through many conflicts and differences.
