The Bob Graham Education Center Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) Academy competed on January 28 at the RoboSlam VEX IQ competition at the Miami Youth Fair Grounds. The teams’ ‘Savage Robots’ finished in 5th place in the team competition out of the 54 teams competing. MLK-8 Center participates in 11th Kids Run

In late January, Miami Lakes K-8 Center students took part in the 11th Kids Run Miami sponsored by the Miami marathon. Students who participated accumulated 25 miles during their physical education classes. They ran the last 1.2 miles of the marathon.
