MLEC hosts UN Day to showcase cultural heritages

Miami Lakes Educational Center hosted an event called MLEC UN Day, wherein students showed their cultural roots by displaying stations with food, music and art from their heritage. Pictured is a group of students at the Haiti display. Many nationalities were celebrated in the event which served to educate others and create camaraderie.
