Longtime residents Maria and Mario Quiros celebrate birthdays and anniversary

Maria Isabel Quiros and her husband Mario Quiros, both longtime Miami Lakes residents, celebrated their 80th birthdays and their 56th wedding anniversary in late 2016. Maria, affectionately known as Cuqui, celebrated her birthday on December 7. Mario celebrated his 80th birthday on October 8. Together they celebrated their anniversary on Christmas Day, alongside their family, friends, and loved ones. The couple met while studying statistics at the University of Havana in Cuba, and it was love at first sight.
