On Nov. 5 Miami Lakers enjoyed the 44th annual Veterans Parade through the center of town.
There were 78 different groups that marched from all over of Miami-Dade County that included school bands, dance groups and civic organizations.
Also joining the different groups were Star Wars characters, classic cars and Miami-Dade Police Department's new mounted unit.
Mayor Manny Cid and Vice Mayor Tony Fernandez rode the route along with different town boards and committees.
Veterans marched along the one mile route through the center of town followed by lunch catered by Mission BBQ of Weston for the veterans.
