Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s inaugural Charity Golf Tournament benefits local charities

Golfers took to the links on June 19 to support several local charities during the inaugural Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament.
The contest at the Miami Lakes Golf Club raised $4,000, which will benefit The Arc of South Florida, Angel’s Reach Foundation Inc., GiGi’s Playhouse; 4Kids Miami and The Zonta Club of Miami Lakes, according to Chamber President Fred Senra.
Senra’s foursome -- Larry Borman, Julio Sardiñas and Vice Mayor Tony Fernandez – won First Place and took home engraved bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label scotch whisky as prizes. Danny Martinez, leasing manager – commercial for The Graham Companies, won the Longest Drive.
