‘GrinchBusters’ on duty in Miami Lakes

     Miami-Dade Police have launched the 2nd Annual GrinchBuster details in shopping centers and downtown Miami Lakes.

     The special patrols began Nov. 29 and run until Dec. 24, Thursday thru Sunday nights, from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.

     “The goal of this detail is to provide a safe shopping and dining experience for our town residents and visitors during the holiday season,” Maj. Jose Gonzalez said in a media release.

     Shoppers will notice police cars with roof lights on, to increase visibility. Patrol areas are Main Street; Cypress Village Shopping Center; Windmill Gate Shopping Center; Lake Patricia Shopping Center; Royal Oaks Plaza; Park Centre Shops, Red Palmetto Shoppes and around Costco.
