Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee will host the annual Father’s Day Fishing Tournament from 8 to 11a.m. on Saturday, June 15, at Graham Dairy Lake, 8100 Oak Lane.No experience is necessary for this free event. Round four in the “Capture a Miami Lakes Moment” photo contest is one of the featured contests.Residents are encouraged to show their love for Miami Lakes by taking photos of their favorite place of thing to do in the Town. Town participates in 'Free the Girls' campaign

As part of the “Free the Girls” campaign, the Town of Miami Lakes is collecting new or lightly used bras during operating hours Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.
The bras as used to create economic opportunity for sex-trafficking survivors who sell the bras in a second-hand market while they recover and build a new life.
