Miami Lakes town officials recently celebrated the grand opening of VitalOne Health Plans Direct, LLC, with a ribbon-cutting on June 13 at the new offices located at 16250 N.W. 59 Avenue, Suite 208.
Established in 2009, VitalOne Health Plans is a national health insurance agency that markets major medical health insurance, life insurance and some critical illness plans. The firm also offers “USA Dental Club,” a membership-based program that offers discounts at participating nationwide providers and a personal Elite Care Coordinator to assist members with dental and medical provider networks.
The Miami Lakes facility was opened in late April and has approximately 50 employees including sales representatives and staff. The firm is looking to expand the Health division by another 20 agents and the Dental division by another 50.
