Adazzles Hair Salon and Supply, located at 7317 Miami Lakes Drive in the Cypress Village Shopping Center, in partnership with the Miami Lakes Auto Mall, is continuing its “Forward in ’15” Free Makeover program this month by providing free makeovers to two local girls. Two local elementary school students will receive free full makeovers including haircuts, manicures, hair products, new school uniforms and school supplies.
“We are continuing our ‘Forward in 15’ campaign by providing full makeovers to two young girls who haven’t had the same opportunities as other children their age,” said Carlo Krockel, manager of Adazzles. “If we can make their lives a little better with this small gesture, why not?”
Earlier this year, Krockel and his team provided beauty services to three randomly selected women who would otherwise not have had the means to purchase it themselves. The two new recipients of the salon’s charity are sisters who are currently in foster care and attend a local school. Their makeovers were scheduled for August 4.
“We want to challenge others out there by asking them why they aren’t giving more back,” Krockel said. “If we can, we should.”
