The custom framing shop All Art Pictures Framing, located at 15505 Bull Run Road, will be celebrating its grand opening and having a special gallery night event showcasing the work of Weston based photographer, Jack Levy, on December 6 from 7 to 11 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Light refreshments will be served and a 10 percent discount on framing services will be available during the event. Miami Lakes Mayor Wayne Slaton, Vice Mayor Manny Cid and members of the Town Council are among the distinguished guests invited to a special ribbon-cutting ceremony beforehand.
For Brooklyn native, Levy, photography is a link to the past and a record of memories for the future. He began his career by photographing nature, wildlife, still life and cityscapes for most of his adult life, and has been photographing portraits and life events such as young couples getting married, brit milahs, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, engagement parties and new babies.
His latest work, which includes some solarized images of nature, landscapes, architecture and abstracts, will be on display and for sale during the event. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to ALS Association. Visit www.imagesbyjack.net to learn more.
