“Living with Alzheimer’s for Early Stage Caregivers,” an education program by The Alzheimer’s Association Southeast Florida Chapter is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 2.
The program is a partnership with Always at Your Side Adult Day Care which will host the event and provide breakfast at 13965 N.W. 67 Avenue in Miami Lakes.
In the early stage of Alzheimer’s disease, families face new questions as they adjust. What does the diagnosis mean? What kinds of plans need to be made? What resources are available to help?
The program will offer practical answers to the questions that arise in the early stage. Participants can learn what they can do to cope with the changes that come in an early-stage diagnosis.
Registration is required by July 30 by calling Gloria Orlandi at 800-272-3900, or by email gorlandikass@alz.org
