A massive renovation has been unveiled at Vista Funeral Home.
The 45-year-old funeral home’s first major renovation creates different kinds of spaces, some private and some communal, as well as modernized technology and hospitality.
The work was initiated by Everstory Partners, Vista’s owners.
One of the country’s largest funeral home, cemetery and crematory companies, Everstory’s goal with the renovation was to modernize the facility with spaces made for comfort, connection and remembrance.
“This renovation is about more than updating a building. It is about strengthening our connection to the families we serve every day,” Jeff Hilliker, area vice president, Everstory Partners, said at the remodeled facility’s ribbon-cutting event.
“We recently had a family share that they were still considering their plans, and seeing the care and thought put into this space gave them confidence in moving forward with us.
“Moments like that remind us why these investments matter. Every detail was designed with today’s families in mind, helping us better serve them when they need us most.”
The renovation created new multifunctional spaces for services and receptions, as well as a private, intimate cremation suite. There are also new features meant to promote a feeling of welcome, including java bars. New integrated technologies and design elements aim to promote reflection and connection. A new color palate is also meant to gives the spaces a feeling of comfort.
