BGEC Robocats win awards

    Students in the Bob Graham Education Center’s Robocats STEM Academy won the Innovate Award during the Nov. 5 VEX IQ qualifier contest held at Rockway Middle School in Miami. The BGEC team that had one of the top engineering notebooks received that award. Robocats also placed 4th in the skills competition and 5th in the team finals. Team Fruit Loops from BGEC also participated in the competition and came in third place for the team finals. The students will move on to the next phase of competition for VEX IQ Robotics.
