Miami Lakes Public Safety Committee is encouraging all local businesses to attend a workshop presented by the Business Crime Watch of Miami-Dade County to learn how to prevent shoplifting and other holiday-related thefts at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16.
Business Crime Watch was implemented to educate and inform business owners on how to better protect their business and employees. It is important that business owners and their employees become educated on loss prevention techniques, especially during the holiday season, when businesses tend to be more crowded and identifying thieves becomes more difficult.
