Hundreds of teary-eyed Miami Lakes residents attended a candlelight vigil last Thursday in memory of 11-year-old Breanna Vergara, who died of an apparent heart attack after she collapsed during ballet class at Miami Dancity Studios in Miami Lakes.
Her sudden death left people in disbelief, as they remembered a loving, bright and talented girl, who was revered by many at Miami Lakes Park West.
Breanna passed away on Tuesday, December 9. She lived in Miami Lakes with her parents, Jesus and Claudia Vergara, and her little sister, Gabby.
Breanna had an incredible love for her family, friends and dancing.
She was loved by students at Bob Graham Education Center, Palm Springs Elementary, Miami Lakes Middle and Mater Lakes Academy.
Everyone she met was impacted by her bright, beautiful blue eyes and smile that made everyone’s life brighter. This is a tragic and sad loss for her family, friends and the Miami Lakes community.
