Catholic Hospice's Maylen Montoto honored as a top Latina Professional

On August 14, 12 Latina Professionals will be honored for strengthening the social fabric of South Florida and inspiring men and women through their leadership, in growing a diverse America.

Maylen Montoto, Community Development director of Catholic Hospice located in Miami Lakes is being honored as one of the 12 Women of Distinction in South Florida.

A leader and fundraising advocate, Montoto has been a part of the Catholic Hospice family for over 14 years and has been at the forefront of managing and funding Catholic Hospice’s community programs like Camp Erin, a bereavement camp for children which Catholic Hospice hosts twice a year; Wishes Granted; Pet Peace of Mind; and  We Honor Veterans. Montoto is a leader in the public relations and special events community of South Florida and a true asset to the Catholic Hospice organization.

The Hispanic Women of Distinction Charity Luncheon will take place on Friday, August 14, at The Signature Grand in Davie.
