The Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce welcomed Ryan Noble, executive director of 4KIDS, Inc. to its May luncheon.
Noble told the business gathering about 4KIDS’ mission to pair children in the foster care system with “a loving mother, a loving father.”
Noble described the struggles foster kids face when separated from their families and siblings are split up.
“Another huge need is the quality of care the kids are receiving,” Noble said. “The more homes we license, we guarantee kids will be placed in those homes.”
4KIDS, Inc. tries to keep brothers and sisters together and provide group adult homes for those who age out of the system.
During the May 8 luncheon, Chamber of Commerce President Fred Senra, who is also a partner in Miami Lakes AutoMall, presented the Main Street Players with two checks: $1,000 from the business group and $2,500 from the auto dealer.
The organizations are corporate sponsors of the theater.
Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava is the next speaker scheduled to appear at the June 12 meeting.
