Christian Bookstore opens at Christ the Savior Cathedral

Stephen Andrew Damick, author of “An Introduction to God” and “Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy” will speak at the grand opening of the new Orthodox Book Center in Miami Lakes on Saturday, October 24. The Orthodox Book Center and Christ the Savior Cathedral are located at 16601 N.W. 77 Court, Miami Lakes 33016. He will offer two lectures on early Christian history in a series titled “Discovering the Early Church.” The event is free and open to the public.

Damick pastors St. Paul Church in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, and also hosts “Roads to Emmaus” on Ancient Faith Radio. He is noted for engaging complex theological issues and bringing them to a popular audience. His books are among the best-selling by an Orthodox Christian author. 

“Discovering the Early Church” begins at 9 a.m. with a worship service next door at Christ the Savior Cathedral. Two lectures will be offered afterwards, with a complimentary lunch between them, Damick will also be available to sign copies of his books.
