Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara Jordan has called a meeting to inform her District One residents about upcoming changes for new development and water and sewer projects in the county’s pipeline.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, at Joella C. Good Elementary School, 6350 N.W. 188 Terrace.
Jordan is encouraging her constituents to attend the meeting to learn more about economic development initiatives, infrastructure projects, transportation and roadway improvements, public safety and code enforcement.
Residents will also learn how to gain access to a host of county resources.
“I’m sure that residents have been reading about the proposed film studio, mega mall and infrastructure initiatives in northwest Miami-Dade County,” said Jordan. “This is an opportunity for them to have their questions addressed without going downtown and standing before the entire County Commission. I’m hoping that residents will be encouraged by these new developments since they will spur economic development in our area.”
