April 2 The 7th Annual Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure to benefit University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Downtown Miami Lakes at Main Street, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., free. $20 donation to display a car. See 250 classic cars, food, drinks, live music performances. Beer Garden price: $30.
April 8 Spring Fling Easter Egg Hunt. Bring the family for this event from the Youth Activities Task Force, sponsored by Memorial Health System. Search for plastic eggs with candy inside; ride ponies; visit the petting zoo; decorate eggs; take photos with the Easter Bunny; listen to the DJ and other activities.
