Is there anything better than having fresh pajamas and a good book when slipping into bed at night?
The Corvo & Calas law firm is running its 21st Annual Pajama and Book Drive to benefit children in shelters who are survivors of domestic abuse.
“In order to assist more children, we are asking the community to join us, by providing them with a comforting bedtime routine,” said attorney Lourdes Corvo, a partner in the firm with attorney Perla Calas.
The law partners collaborate with the Miami-Dade Community Action and Human Services Department to distribute the new clothing and books to kids.
Donations will be accepted at the law office in Business Park West, at 14750 NW 77th Court, Suite 300 in Miami Lakes, Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. until Dec. 17.
