Council honors Daylin Garcia of Giving Gators charity

     The Miami Lakes town council presented a proclamation to Daylin Garcia for her volunteer efforts in the community. Garcia founded the Giving Gators charity in 2014, which helps children in need. Mayor Manny Cid called her an “unsung hero” whose impact upon the town has been “priceless.”
