Miami Lakes Mayor Wayne Slaton, accompanied by Vice Mayor Manny Cid and Councilmembers Ceasar Mestre, Tim Daubert and Frank Mingo, participated in the Miami-Dade County Days on April 2-3 in Tallahassee.
Each year, Dade Days takes place during the Florida Legislative Session. The two-day event includes more than 1,000 people who represent over 200 organizations from both the private and public sectors.
“I truly enjoyed the opportunity to travel to Tallahassee with members of the Council, meet with state elected officials, and advocate for issues that are important to our residents,” said Slaton.
