Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force is hosting a Family Fishing Clinic at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, at the Optimist Park Marina, 6411 N.W. 162 Street.
Fishing experts will provide tips such as humane de-hooking methods and the proper catch and release techniques.
Life jackets and fishing rods will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
