The Town of Miami Lakes has introduced the “Find My Zoning” web mapping application. The new feature can be found on the town’s Planning and Zoning Department’s homepage, and is available at www.miamilakes-fl.gov/FindZoning.
The application allows anyone to determine the zoning district for all properties in Miami Lakes. The link directs users to important information and regulations pertaining to that particular zoning district.
The application also includes various functions that are intended to encourage economic development by making it easy to find the data and information needed when making business location decisions.
These functions include the ability to determine the number of residents that live within a specified distance of any property, and the average daily traffic count on major roadways.
“This is yet another example of Miami Lakes making it easier for businesses to relocate to our town,” said Vice Mayor Manny Cid.
