For busy parents looking for an activity for their children on Friday nights, the Town of Miami Lakes has a suggestion.
The Youth Activities Task Force hosts Barefoot Board Gamin, a free casual board game night, every other Friday from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Barefoot Board Gaming offers a friendly environment that encourages social interaction in a non-digital format between family and friends.
The event’s goal is to being Miami Lakes residents together using board games to create a fun and whimsical atmosphere that encourages positive social exchanges.
Barefoot Board Gaming offers classic board games such as Parcheesi and Clue, as well as newer, European-style games such as Ticket to Ride and King of Tokyo.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
