Always At Your Side Adult Day Care Center, Miami Lakes’ unique senior care facility located at 13965 N.W. 67 Avenue, is hosting a Senior and Family Health Fair on Saturday, August 8, from noon to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the community including seniors, adults and families.
The “Fun in the Sun” health fair is sponsored by Molina Healthcare and Always At Your Side Adult Day Care Center and will feature a variety of sponsors including: Baptist Health South Florida, The Graham Companies, The Miami Laker, Palm Springs General Hospital, Palmetto General Hospital, Vicky Bakery, Alzheimer’s Association, Nutrition Smart, Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr., A Quality Medical Distributors, Catholic Hospice, Lakes Dental, Pharmacy Care Center, Miami Lakes Home Health Care, Perfect Care Home Health Care Agency, Giardino Gourmet Salads, Health Training Professionals, Shula’s Athletic Club, Lakes Foot & Ankle Specialists, Healthways Silver Sneakers Fitness Program, Vitas Healthcare, Snowie Snow Cones, HearUSA, and Orthopaedic Associates USA.
Sponsors will be at the location with representation for their services including raffles and giveaways and education on healthy living regarding nutrition, insurance, medical supplies, and utilizing services within the Town of Miami Lakes and the surrounding areas.
