The Giardino Gourmet Salads franchise now has a Miami Lakes location under its belt, the 10th location just in time for the franchise's 10th anniversary. This addition marks the company's first multi-unit operators.
A tentative date between late June and early July is scheduled for a grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony with town officials.
Giardino Miami Lakes is readying its new store at 8008 N.W. 154 Street in the Park Centre Shops, and is owned by multi-unit operators Jaime Mitrani, Robert Fuerth and Lilly Tudela. Mitrani and Fuerth first took ownership of the South Miami location which has since become one of the highest-grossing restaurants in the chain. Tudela joined Mitrani and Fuerth in 2013 for the opening of the Miami Lakes location.
“The Giardino brand resonated with Rob and I from the start which is why we've worked so hard to improve operations and establish a positive reputation for our location,” said Mitrani.
Mitrani, Freuth and Tudela are all Miami natives, and Tudela has recently become a resident of Miami Lakes.
“We know we've chosen the best possible location for our next store with coming to Miami Lakes,” said Freuth. “The Miami Lakers we've already had a chance to interact with have all been very welcoming and have told us they can’t wait until we open.”
All three owners hail from the corporate world but have entrepreneurial roots. They are fans of successful homegrown franchises and after finding Giardino, the transition was seamless.
“We love the food and the healthy concept of the brand and whole-heartedly believe in what we serve,” said Tudela.
Giardino’s Miami Lakes menu options will include gourmet salads, wraps, grain bowls, sliders, soups, fresh teas, juices, healthy desserts and snacks and will be open for lunch and dinner Sunday through Saturday. The meals offered are a blend of well-balanced flavors and healthy ingredients. Customers can dine-in or take-out, and Giardino has delivery and catering options.
In addition to the new location, Giardino also has restaurants in the neighborhoods of Blue Lagoon, Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Downtown Miami, Kendall, Miramar, and South Miami.
