Russie Tighe, organizer of the Delta Psi Kappa high school scholarship program, awarded a plaque on May 15th to Christina “Kiki” Gonzalez, a senior at Barbara Goleman Senior High School in Miami Lakes.
Kiki, 17, of Miami Lakes, was recognized as an Outstanding Scholar Athlete. She played varsity flag football and varsity basketball for the Gators. Her classmates chose her as Most Athletic of the Class of 2021.
In the fall, Kiki will attend Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. She is considering either Exercise Science or Marine Biology as her major.
