Gov. Scott appoints Frank Diaz to Homeless Council

Miami Lakes resident Frank Diaz, an owner of ADG Omnimedia, a South Florida public relations and marketing firm, has been appointed to the Council on Homelessness by Florida Governor Rick Scott.

Diaz fills a vacant seat and will serve through June 30, 2016.

Diaz currently serves on the Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County on behalf of Miami-Dade County Commission vice chairman Esteban Bovo Jr. He also serves  on the Miami-Dade School Board’s Attendance Boundary Committee on behalf of board chair Perla Tabares Hantman.

Over the last 10 years, Diaz has served as chairman of the School Board’s Ad Hoc multi-lingual task force, and as chair of the former Town of Miami Lakes Beautification Advisory Committee.
