'He is Risen!'

‘He is risen!’
Jesus’ astonished disciples cried when they realized that the teacher they loved and followed was still with them.
Frightened that they might suffer the same death as Jesus, some huddled together in deep despair while others went back to their homes in Galilee.
Then their fear turned to Joy as the news came to them. He is risen! The women said his tomb was empty.
He walked on a road with two disciples. Mary Magdalen saw him in a garden and called him ‘Rabbi!’ He joined others for breakfast on a beach.
He is risen! He is risen!
The news spread rapidly among followers and enemy alike and is still proclaimed today.
