HearUSA relocates to Park Centre

Community Wednesday, October 30, 2013

HearUSA, a full-service hearing health care facility originally located at 15544 N.W. 77 Court in the Royal Oaks Plaza, has moved to Miami Lakes' Park Centre Shopping Center at 8028 N.W. 154 Street.

HearUSA, originally known as HEARx, opened its first hearing care center in Florida in 1987. In 2002, with the acquisition of a national hearing care company, HearUSA was created. HearUSA is the only hearing care network accredited by the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC), the nation's top health care accrediting organization.

Patients may schedule a free hearing evaluation, purchase products to improve their hearing health, and have their hearing aids fitted and programmed to fit their specific lifestyle needs. The center is equipped to offer patients a full hearing assessment that include a detailed case history, evaluation of their listening needs, and inspection of ear canals.

Afterwards, a clear explanation of the test results, treatment options, and professional recommendations are provided. If hearing aids are an appropriate treatment, product selection, fittings, adjustments and ongoing support are included within the HearUSA Total Care Program. HearUSA is also able to arrange financing upon approval, work with insurance plans, offer 60-day trial periods, and product warranties.

Money-back satisfaction guarantees are available as well. Promotional discounts and offers are made available from time to time. Digital hearing technology offers the most flexibility and more options to address user comfort and speech intelligibility. There are additional types of technology also available that, in most cases, can be incorporated into any size of hearing instrument.

Micon technology offers an unprecedented natural listening experience through preserved natural acoustics, transparent amplification, improved directionality and audibility of high frequency sounds. Micon technology enhances wearers' focus on what they hear, not how they hear.  Vivian Suarez, HearUSA's Board Certified Hearing Aid Specialist, has been with the company for over 19 years.

She is looking forward to treating patients at the new location.

"My goal is to help enhance my patient's quality of life by providing the most appropriate amplification, counseling, and excellent customer service," said Suarez. "Helping people hear sounds of life gives me tremendous personal satisfaction. I've dedicated myself to making life better for the hearing impaired."

HearUSA is open Monday through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be made online at www.hearusa.com or by calling 305-362-9098.
