A group of students at Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High School (HML) were recently honored for acceptance into various universities. The seniors were recognized during a ceremony held in the school’s iVillage center that houses the iPrep Academy.
The students were also treated to lunch in the school’s library and were each given a certificate to commemorate their achievement. About 74 seniors were accepted into the college or university of their choice, including University of Miami, University of Florida, Florida State University, Hofstra University, Bethune-Cookman, Florida International University, and the Julliard School in New York.
Commencement ceremonies for HML’s graduating class of 2015 was held at the FIU Arena on May 28.
