With a $2,500 donation, the company sponsored a tent and employees helped assemble backpacks, distributed them and served lunch to the guests, President and Chief Executive Officer Jeanne Kucey said.
Kristi House in Miami treats victims of child sexual abuse, trafficking and trauma, free of charge. Its Child Advocacy Center serves the legal and health needs of children and works to hold perpetrators responsible, its website says.
JetStream Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Miami Lakes, is celebrating its 76th year. It has five branches in Miami-Dade County and three in Puerto Rico. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works or worships in those locations.
