The annual Miami Lakes Women’s Event has been scheduled for 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, at the Limelight Shop, 6709 Main Street. The indoor event is open to the general public and admission is free.
The main theme is “Fashion and Beauty” with makeup tips “before and after” applications, followed by the “Little Princess” on stage parade at 7:30 p.m. and a women’s fashion show at 9 p.m. Visitors will be treated to complimentary appetizers and more as they visit “Table Boutiques” with a variety of merchants’ products and services.
Winners of the “Raffle Giveaways” will be announced every hour including spa and massage treatments, detox cleansing, skin care products, quality fragrances, vitamins and energy supplements, fitness and workout tips.
Future Image Salon owner Yamille Castellanos said, “I am looking forward to meeting all the attendees and the opportunity to share consulting advice for the working woman. This offers a chance for great advice to look beautiful in any occasion from our makeup artist Ashley Perez.”
Dr. Sonia Olivares, DDS, an annual sponsor with The Dental Club, said, “This is one of my favorite events in Miami Lakes, well organized and interactively fun.”
The Dental Club team will be on hand to sign guests up for complimentary consultations and the dental whitening giveaway. The “Little Princess” on stage parade is for girls between the ages of 2 and 10.
It is not a pageant and all participants are winners as they wear their “favorite princess outfit” or favorite “I feel like a princess” dress and parade to the applause of the crowd. The parade is coordinated by Sabrina Sosa and her team at The Bridal Runner.
The event is sponsored by the Main Street Merchants and The Graham Companies. In addition to Sosa, the event committee includes Marisol Rivas of The Crexent Business Center, fashion show coordinator Vanessa Tello and public relations director Chanel Prada.
