Mail-in ballot application forms sent this week

Government Wednesday, June 3, 2020

Coming soon to your mailbox: A form to request a Vote by Mail ballot from Miami-Dade County
Elections.
As the coronavirus outbreak lingers in South Florida, officials anticipate that more voters will want to cast their ballots remotely.
And that process will begin this summer, as the Aug. 18 Primary Election approaches.
Voters may fill out the paper form and mail it back in a prepaid envelope sent by the county or fill out the form online or call the county.
Voters will still be able to participate in the
Primary in person during the early voting period, from Aug. 3 – 16 at 23 different polls, or on Aug. 18, Primary Election Day, in their assigned precincts.
Register before July 20.
The General Election is Nov. 3; register by Oct. 5 if you are not already an eligible voter.
A request to vote by mail form may also be found on the county website.
